History

What began as a last minute fundraiser idea to meet a goal, has blossomed into an annual event that continues to grow each year. For the past four years, we have planned and executed a corn hole tournament that has raised over $6,000 for various charities. Three years ago we gave it name, Toss For Troops, as well as a specific purpose: raise money to help local veterans.

Partner

With Toss For Troops, we aim to bring people, businesses, nonprofits, and veterans together to have fun while raising money for veterans who need help. Our partner, the Pennsylvania Veteran’s Foundation (PVF), dedicates each day to PA Vets. Whatever assistance they need, PVF gets it to them. We believe in their compassion and effectiveness and that is why we donate all proceeds to them every year.

This year, the event will be on November 4th at Columbia Kettle Works! We are so excited to be hosting the event again, and are aiming to raise over $5,000! If you are interested in donating to this event or sponsoring the event, email Allen at allen@susquehannavalleyfoundation.org.
